We are excited to announce our latest campaign, Not Starbucks! This campaign is in support of Starbucks Workers United.

Starbucks is just one of many corporate companies that bleed our people dry. Workers deserve respect, workers are the ones that keep our economy going, not the corporate executives.

It is time for all Americans to stand up against the monopolies and for the people. You have to stop spending your money with oligarch controlled companies. You have to shop small. You have to shop local. Make these actions part of your daily coffee routine. It takes just a minute a day to show your support and stand for the people. As many of you have probably heard, the next No Kings has been set for October 17, 2026! You have been wondering what the plan is, so here is the plan!

What: Big Rally and GOTV (Get Out The Vote) action

When: 1pm Rally starts; 2pm GOTV action starts (Oct 17)

Where: Rally at Mill Creek Park (east side of the Plaza), with action-specific GOTV activities to take place elsewhere or nearby, as appropriate

Who: All of Kansas City is invited! This is the time to save our Democracy, so YOU are invited!

How: Door knocking! Phone bank prep! Postcards! Business area canvassing! Pedestrian area literature! And more!

This one will be different from past No Kings events. Please come ready to work! Bring your signs and other protest items too, but after the rally, we are going to get to work together to maximize the Early Vote. This will be a mass mobilization effort. If we all do our part, we will save our nation.

All necessary training and materials will be provided at the No Kings event. Keep an eye out for more details on the GOTV action you signed up for in the weeks to come.
