2 Adult Female Red-Eared Sliders looking for forever homes!

Located in Kansas City, MO.

Meet Marshall and Soup, two adult female red-eared sliders.

After spending over a decade together in a shared 70 gallon tank, they started getting snippy with each other, maintenance got harder, life happened, and their owner made the difficult decision to surrender them over to me so they could each have the space and care they needed.

Since arriving with me (about 9 months ago) both girls have been thriving in separate 70-80 gallon tanks, have larger basking platforms, are soaking up strong T5 linear UVB, basking under proper heat, and enjoying clean, filtered water (submersible quality filters) with weekly deep-clean maintenance. While their current setups are simple (minimal dƩcor, etc.), these tanks have been meant for recovery and monitoring, not long-term life.

They’ve been gaining weight, staying active, having healthy sheds, and are more than ready for their next chapter.

Both ladies are full-grown, 10–15 years old, and would do best with experienced turtle keepers who understand the time, space, and husbandry needs sliders require.

Each turtle ideally needs a minimum of 80-120 gallon tank (ideally larger than the 80 each are in now), a strong filtration system, a secure basking platform, proper UVB, a healthy diet, and enrichment like substrate, sand/rock, aquatic plants, and things to explore.

They can be adopted separately or together (if together - both need separate tanks). The goal is to get them into forever homes with more space, more enrichment, and someone who loves turtles as much as we do. Someone who will do the weekly maintenance and give these girls a quality life.

If you’re in the Kansas / Missouri area and interested in giving Soup or Marshall a forever home, send me a message! Also happy to coordinate transporting them to an out of state home if it’s a really good fit for them.

✨ Available for Adoption ✨Meet Bruno!

This sweet guy has been with me for over a year now, and I honestly can’t believe he still hasn’t found his forever home.

Bruno came to me from a family who had purchased him for a child. As these situations sometimes go, the child wasn’t able to give him the care he needed, so they lovingly surrendered him.

He’s a shy, hands off, ā€œleave me beā€ kind of gecko.

Because of his past, he’s a bit hesitant around people, but he absolutely deserves a patient, loving home that can give him proper care, solid husbandry, and the space to just exist comfortably. With time and trust, I do believe he can become more handleable. I have been working with him to help him get accustomed to gentle handling and my presence.

As always, a complete habitat setup must be ready before adoption.

If you’re interested in bringing Bruno home or have any questions, feel free to send me a message! ✨✨

✨Available for adoption✨ Meet Phillip!

Meet Phillip! He’s an adult leopard gecko (estimated a few years old) who was surrendered late this summer after bouncing between a few homes. He arrived with toes bound in stuck shed, mild mouth rot, and hadn’t eaten in a few months. This was all due to incorrect husbandry (improper substrate, humidity, heat, diet, etc.)

Fast forward a few months and Phillip is thriving. For the first month, he was assist-fed a liquid food supplement, and he has since transitioned to eating insects on his own. He LOVES his worms. He’s still unsure about dubias or other insects, but we’re working on it. Baby steps! He’s also on a proper calcium and multivitamin rotation now, along with corrected husbandry. He’s now had multiple healthy sheds and his feet and mouth have completely healed.

Phillip will need an owner committed to maintaining proper care. An appropriately sized tank, correct substrate, UVB, heat, humidity, diet, and supplements. I’m always happy to answer any leopard gecko husbandry questions and can help with tank setup as well.

If you’re interested in adopting Phillip or have any questions, please message us here on Facebook. Before adoption, a full tank and completed habitat will be required. 🫶

✨Available for adoption✨ This is Nikko!

He’s roughly 5 years old and was surrendered this summer by a loving family who no longer had the time or resources to care for him. He’s healthy, active, and has been an absolute hoot these last few months. Truly one of the biggest personalities I’ve ever seen in a dragon. He’s sassy, knows exactly what he wants, and loves time outside the tank & his window hangouts.

From my time with him I can confidently say he’ll need a spacious enclosure (4x2x2) and a good balance of consistent out of tank time alongside proper basking, heat, and UVB in tank. He previously lived in a home with children and dogs, so he does have experience with both.

His favorite food is green beans, and he definitely prefers worms over dubias. We’re working on expanding his diet to include more dubias, insects, and a wider variety of greens. He getting greens daily, insects 2-3 times/week & is on a rotation of calcium & multivitamin supplement.

If you’re interested in adopting Nikko or have any questions, please reach out via Messenger. Before adoption I do ask that his tank and full habitat already set up. Tank, UVB, heat, basking spot, etc. I’m always happy to answer husbandry questions or help with setup. šŸ«¶šŸ’š

Hey everyone! šŸ‘‹ First post in three months. 😳
I wanted to thank you all for your patience during my absence.

Starting this small rescue at the beginning of the year was a dream come true, but I have to admit that things became overwhelming this summer. I was getting 20–30 surrender requests at a time, and I quickly learned that the maximum number of animals I can comfortably and responsibly rehabilitate is around ten. The overwhelm was real. Because of that, I stepped away from social media and paused new intakes. I focused on the animals already in my care, improved husbandry, created better routines, and took time to figure out how I truly want to run this rescue moving forward.

I’ve spent a lot of time considering whether to expand, seek more resources, or stay small and do more individualized rescue work. For now, my life and capacity are telling me to keep things small. I want to give so much and help as much as I can, but I’m learning my limitations as one person, and I recognize that I’m not currently in a place to grow the rescue larger.

My plan moving forward : ā¬‡ļø

I will be removing my website, surrender forms, adoption forms, Instagram, and TikTok. I’ll be limiting all rescue operations to this page. I’ll post adoptable animals here, and all surrenders and adoptions will be handled through Messenger.

I choosing FB because it’s more localized, community-based, and ultimately the most effective platform for the rescue.

I’ll be keeping my personal limit at about ten animals in care at a time, with a focus on neglect and life-threatening cases. This allows me to provide the best rehabilitation, vet care, and support possible.

Thank you again for all your patience. I truly apologize if messages or forms were sent over the past few months that I wasn’t able to respond to. I’m hopeful that scaling back will help me show up more consistently and provide better care, resources, and support to the community.

I’ll be posting updates over the next few days about the animals currently with me, how they’re doing, and who is available for adoption. 🫶 - Reign

Our handsome bearded dragon Caulson has officially been adopted…..by his very own foster parent! šŸ’™

Caulson came into our care alongside his tank mate he was co habbing with, Amyra, just over a month ago. With the help of his foster parent’s husbandry and care, both dragons thrived. Amyra was adopted this last week after completing her antibiotic treatment, and now Caulson gets to stay right where he’s happiest, in his foster home forever. šŸ’•

We’re so grateful for the dedication and love shown to these two, and we couldn’t be happier to see them both safe, healthy, and in loving homes.

Congratulations, Amyra! šŸŽ‰šŸ’š

Today is this sweet girl’s big adoption day, and we couldn’t be happier! She’s heading home with an amazing family who has done tons of research and is ready to give her the most loving, well prepared forever home. šŸ”

Amyra came to us about a month ago through a Craigslist surrender. She was in rough shape and suffering from tail rot. Over the past month, she’s been in the care of a wonderful foster parent who gave her proper husbandry, great nutrition, and lots of love.

Under veterinary guidance, we just completed a week long course of injectable antibiotics to clear up any lingering infection.

Today, she gets to start her next chapter!

We’re so grateful to her foster for helping her heal, and to her new family for opening their hearts and home to her.

Happy forever, Amyra! šŸ¦ŽšŸ’–

Two happy updates from today’s vet visit! šŸ¦Žā¤ļø

Amyra & Caulson (our bonded rescues from last month) had their checkups today, and both are doing wonderfully.

✨ Caulson surprised us. Turns out he is actually a she! She’s perfectly healthy and as of today is officially staying with her foster parent, who decided to adopt her. A true foster fail success story. 🫶

✨ Amyra’s exam also went great. Her tail rot has healed beautifully with proper care, and she’s finishing up a short round of precautionary antibiotics this week. Once she’s done with her antibiotics, she’ll be moving into her new forever home that we have lined up for her! šŸ¤žšŸ¤žšŸ¤ž

Today’s visit covered both dragons exams, Amyra’s antibiotics, and a refill on Leo’s (our MBD recovery dragon) liver medication - all totaling $162 after our nonprofit 20% discount.

If you’d like to help us recoup today’s medical costs and continue giving these animals the care they deserve, donations are so appreciated. šŸ’š

Every bit makes a huge difference.

Sweet Amyra heads to the vet tomorrow and we could really use your support. šŸ«¶ā¤ļøā€šŸ©¹

Amyra and Caulson were rescued from a small, poorly kept tank. Sadly, Amyra came to us with tail rot likely from aggression, dirty conditions, or both. Thanks to her foster parent’s care (proper UVB, heat, nutrition, plus daily antiseptic soaks) the infected tip of her tail has already fallen off naturally. This is a huge win, as we feared she’d need a full amputation if it had kept spreading.

Tomorrow, we’re hoping the vet will prescribe antibiotics to help her finish healing so she can head to her already waiting forever home that we have lined up.

We’re asking for donations to help cover Amyra’s visit and support other animals in our care. (Leo needs a refill on his liver meds + recheck, and we have other dragons with MBD waiting for help.)
