The Prominent Psi Sigma Alumnae chapter in Kansas City, Missouri works tirelessly to uphold the torch of Sisterhood, Scholarship and Service through its grass-roots community service initiatives and fund-raising activities. Psi Sigma’s local community service projects include:
•Quarterly Food Donation to City Union Mission
•Martin Luther King Jr. (benefiting Harvesters Food Network)
•March of Dim

•Wine, Dine, Donate! (benefiting Sigma Salutes Cultural and Educational Foundation)
•Mwanamugimu Essay Contest (benefiting BBCAT)

Psi Sigma also supports several local organizations through volunteerism:
