We love this recent rain! Spring has sprung and our Garden Coordinator, Claire has been tending to our Community Garden beds at 4 gardens near downtown. This week we've harvested strawberries, mustard greens, thinned radishes, weeded and more.

Volunteer opportunities are available Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays on our website, help us bring Produce to the People!

The past few days, members of staff had the opportunity to meet with gardeners from around Missouri at and other locations in Springfield, MO, thanks to for their "Spring Train the Trainer, Cultivating Knowledge" event. We toured gardens and attended workshops on pest management, growing mushrooms, irrigation, food preservation and more. We're excited to bring the knowledge and new connections back to KC and bring Produce to the People!
