Over thirty years old, this non-profit organization supports le***an, gay, bisexual and transgender persons, their allies, family and friends. We celebrate our diversity and envision full participation for all in the life and ministry of the church. We are a gr

ass-roots organization committed to proclaiming Jesus Christ, affirming the worth of all persons and acting in response to God’s transforming love. Harmony offers dual ministries of sanctuary and transformation. Our regional and international retreats offer safety for telling our sacred stories in the confidential environment which promotes acceptance, healing, and spiritual wholeness. We are committed to working with the Community of Christ members and leaders to build bridges of understanding and share information about the ministerial needs for persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Community of Christ scripture calls us to create communities that affirm the worth and dignity of all people.

A great resource came our way and we just had to share! Although our focus as a non-profit is advocacy, education, and resources for LGBTQIA2S+ folks in Community of Christ, we know inclusion has many intersections.

Worship for the Whole Body, a free guide published by the Disability Ministry Network, explores creative ideas for multi-sensory worship practices. While this is a great tool for creating disability-friendly worship services, this guide is helpful for those without disabilities as well. All congregations have diverse learning styles, sensory preferences, and support needs - so it's a win-win!

Following the regular reunion, several folks stayed for the extended reunion experience! This included a visit to La Conner, Washington, on Wednesday Evening. Then on Thursday we went to Deception Pass and then took a ferry to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island where we did a Hop On / Hop Off bus tour of the island.
