💧Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate

💧And then hydrate some more.

🥵 Heat Exhaustion means your body is sweating heavily, but your skin is likely clammy. A rapid pulse and dizziness are also symptoms.

➡️Sip water or electrolytes, get in the shade and apply cool towels or even put your feet in cool water if possible. Wait at least 30 minutes to restart activity.

BUT IF YOU STOP SWEATING......🛑

🥵 Heat Stroke signs:

Extreme dizziness or fainting
No longer sweating
Headache
Nausea
Hot skin

CALL 911 and get your body on ice. LITERALLY, ice on your neck, armpits and groin. (Hopefully you're not outside in this heat alone, and you have help!)

Heat stroke IS life threatening.

Be safe.

I ABSOLUTELY said "standing dive in, swim to the shallow end and it's free time". Somehow, we got a bunch of pencil jumps instead. 🫠

But they worked hard so I let them off the hook this time. 🤗
