KCMO - National Organization for Women KCMO - NOW is a grassroots organization dedicated to achieving equality through political and social action based upon intersectionality.

KCMO-NOW is Kansas City, Missouri's local chapter of the National Organization for Women. While formed under the guidance of the Missouri-NOW State Chapter and the National Organization, KCMO-NOW operates at the grassroots level to bring NOW's Equality Agenda to Kansas City, Missouri. Through collaborative efforts with other local, state and national political organizations, non-profit organizatio

ns and others, KCMO-NOW is dedicated to 1) Eliminating discrimination and harassment in the workplace, schools, the justice system, and all other sectors of society; 2) Securing abortion, birth control, and reproductive justice for all women; 3) Ensuring full civil and human rights for lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender people; 4) Ending all forms of violence against women; 5) Eradicating racism, sexism, and homophobia; 6) Promoting equality and justice in our society.
