❤️💙🚀 MEET OUR SECRETARY! 🚀💙❤️

Next up in our Meet the PTO Board series is our Secretary, Melissa! 🎉

Melissa is heading into her 4th year as a proud John Glenn parent and loves being involved at the school! Along with serving as our PTO Secretary, you can also find her volunteering weekly in the school cafeteria. 🍎🏫

Outside of PTO, Melissa works as an Access Representative for Mosaic Life Care. She credits her husband, Matthew, as her biggest supporter. Together, they spend most of their free time with their three kiddos and are currently preparing to welcome baby #4! 🍼❤️

Their family also includes three rescue dogs 🐾🐾🐾, so there’s never a dull moment in their house! When Melissa gets a little downtime, you might catch her drinking a chocolate & peanut butter shake and watching her current favorite show, The Vampire Diaries. 🧛‍♀️🥤

But don’t let the quiet hobbies fool you—Melissa is also an adrenaline ju**ie! 😲 She loves zip lining and parasailing and has even been SKYDIVING! 🪂

Melissa is also a proud Savannah High School alumna and is happy to call this small town home. ❤️

We’re so thankful to have Melissa helping keep our PTO organized and making a difference for our John Glenn students, staff, and families!

❤️💙🚀 MEET OUR TREASURER! 🚀💙❤️

Next up in our Meet the PTO Board series is our amazing Treasurer, Jennifer! 🎉

Jennifer is a busy mom of three active boys, so she definitely knows a thing or two about juggling a full schedule! 💙💙💙

During the workday, Jennifer serves as a Contracting Officer at her office in Kansas City, where she manages contracts for the Department of War at the Pentagon. 🇺🇸

Even with a busy career and three boys keeping her on the go, Jennifer loves finding ways to give back to her community. Along with serving as our PTO Treasurer, she is also involved with Savannah Boy Scouts Troop 60! ❤️

When she manages to find some free time, Jennifer loves traveling, spending time with friends, and—of course—strolling the aisles of Costco! 😂🛒 (Because really, who doesn’t love a good Costco trip?!)

We’re so thankful to have Jennifer helping keep our PTO organized, on track, and ready for another great year of supporting our John Glenn students and staff! ❤️💙

❤️💙🚀 MEET OUR VICE PRESIDENT! 🚀💙❤️

Help us give a BIG John Glenn welcome to our PTO Vice President, Lynzi Lawrence! 🎉

This is Lynzi’s first year serving on the PTO Board, but she’s definitely no stranger to PTO! Last year, she spent lots of time volunteering and quickly realized she wanted to be even more involved—so she decided to run for Vice President! ❤️

Lynzi’s bonus daughter is a 2nd grader at John Glenn, and their family has even more excitement ahead—they’ll officially become a family of four by the end of the year! 🥰

When she isn’t helping with PTO, Lynzi works as a Registered Nurse in St. Joseph. In her free time, she loves swimming, hiking, and traveling! ✈️🏔️🏊‍♀️

And here’s a fun fact: Lynzi has visited EVERY state except Alaska! 🤯🗺️

This year, Lynzi is especially looking forward to all the fun activities we have planned and hopes to get even more families and friends involved with PTO!

We are so excited to have Lynzi as our VP and can’t wait for an amazing school year! ❤️💙🚀

❤️💙🚀 MEET OUR PRESIDENT! 🚀💙❤️

Starting off our Meet the PTO Board series—meet our President, Jess! 🎉

Jess is heading into her 7th year as part of the John Glenn PTO and her 4th year serving on the PTO Board! One of her favorite parts of PTO is planning fun events and activities for our students and staff each year, while also getting the chance to meet new families along the way! ❤️💙

Jess is a busy mom of three! Her daughter is now in middle school, while her two boys are at John Glenn—one in 3rd grade and one in 1st grade! 🚀

She is also a proud Savannah High School alumna, Class of 2010, where she met her husband, Winston! ❤️

When she isn’t busy with PTO, Jess works at Farmers Insurance and spends LOTS of time cheering on her kids from the sidelines! Between softball, baseball, and football, there’s always a game, practice, or tournament on the calendar! 🥎⚾️🏈

And when she finds a little free time, Jess loves playing tennis, reading, and hanging out with friends! 🎾📚

Jess is excited for another year of creating memories, supporting our amazing students and staff, and making John Glenn an even better place to be!
