✨ FLASHBACK FRIDAY ✨

Just 5 weeks ago, Urban Community Connections welcomed 12 incredible ProX interns who were ready to learn, serve, and make a difference.

What happened next exceeded every expectation.

💙 Together, this amazing team helped rescue more than 42,000 pounds of vital resources, ensuring new surplus products reached families instead of landfills.

📦 They assembled more than 5,000 essential resource kits, including clothing, hygiene, infant care, activity, and community support kits that will continue creating impact long after their internship has ended.

🚛 They worked side-by-side with our volunteer teams, learned the power of community partnerships, strengthened their leadership and workplace skills, and experienced firsthand what it means to serve with purpose.

One of our interns even represented the next generation of leaders by spending a week in Washington, D.C., engaging with members of Congress and gaining firsthand insight into civic leadership and public service, bringing those experiences back to inspire the rest of the UCC team.

Their impact wasn't measured only by pounds rescued or kits packed. It was measured in every child who will receive school supplies, every family who will receive essential resources, every senior served with dignity, and every life touched because these young leaders chose to show up.

To our 12 ProX interns, thank you for your dedication, your energy, your willingness to learn, and your heart for serving others. You didn't just complete an internship...
