🎒 Help Us Fill More Backpacks for Local Kids! 💚

Canna Moms KC Collective is getting ready for our Back-to-School Bash on August 15, and we’re hoping to provide as many backpacks and school supplies as possible for families in our community.

As many of you know, we’re still a small, growing community. Every playdate, event, giveaway, and community project is funded by me and our amazing moderators out of our own pockets. We truly do this because we love creating a village for moms and their families.

If you’re able to help, no donation is too small. Whether it’s one notebook or enough supplies for an entire backpack, every single item makes a difference and helps us provide more back-to-school bags for local kiddos. ❤️

📚 Most Needed School Supplies:
• Backpacks or drawstring bags
• Wide-ruled notebooks
• Folders
• Loose-leaf notebook paper
• Pencils
• Erasers
• Crayons
• Colored pencils
• Glue sticks
• Blunt-tip scissors
• Pencil boxes or pouches
• Highlighters
• Or any other school supplies!

This gives us time to sort, organize, and pack everything before our Back-to-School Bash on August 15.

📚🍎 OUR NEW PLAYDATE SCHEDULE IS HERE! 💚

As we start getting back into the school year, we wanted to make the most of the rest of our summer together! ☀️💚

We’ve put together another playdate schedule full of new adventures, familiar favorites, and plenty of opportunities to build friendships and make memories together. Starting in September, we’ll be switching to 2 weekend playdates each month so our working moms, school-age kiddos, and families can continue getting together while balancing school, sports, and busy schedules. And don’t worry… this definitely isn’t the end of the fun! 👀 Keep an eye out for our upcoming holiday events and seasonal schedule later this year! 🎉

To help make things fair for everyone, we’ll continue rotating locations all around the KC metro so different moms and families have opportunities to attend throughout the season. 💚

We’ll be enjoying things like:
💦 Splash pad
🛶 Lake day
🔬 Museums
🐐 petting zoo
🎉 end of summer cookout
🎒 Special back to school play date
🌳 Parks
…and so much more!

We have so many new members I’d love to reintroduce myself!

I’m Tatyana , the creator/founder of Canna Moms KC Collective 💚💨

I created this group because honestly becoming a new mom can feel lonely sometimes. I felt like I needed more friends, more interaction, more support, and just other moms who get it. I figured there had to be other women feeling the same way so I decided to create our group Canna Moms KC Collective a judgment-free space where moms could connect, vent, laugh, support one another, make friendships, do playdates, virtual meetings, mom nights, giveaways, and just build a real community together across Kansas & Missouri 💚

I truly did NOT expect this group to blow up as fast as it did 😭 but I’m honestly so grateful for every single one of you ladies because group would not be possible without you!! Watching alot of you moms support each other, show up for one another, wanting to donate, wanting to sponsor giveaways, offer help, advice, resources, help build the group, and kindness has been so beautiful to watch 🥹

But here’s a little about me:
I’m 26 years old and I have a beautiful 3 month old baby girl named Esperanza Jacqueline 🤍 I named her after my best friend who passed away in 2018, so her name means a lot to me emotionally. My bestfriend was my other half when she left this world I was so empty and lost most importantly confused. But I’ll always keep my besties time on earth alive she was everything to me. My baby girl is the light of my life!! She is so perfect in every way I can imagine and I am so BLESSED to be her mommy 🥹😭

I’m honestly a pretty chill/lazy homebody type of girl 😩 I love smoking, watching movies/shows, staying home, relaxing with my man and my baby, and just enjoying peaceful vibes. Joints & dabs are definitely my favorite 🌿🤣 I love to FaceTime and puff outside. I love carnivals and festivals and all events! I wanna try the Kc winery more often, I wanna check out some stoner cafes, I want a friend who wants to have play dates and just have fun become family! I’m a hot mess, late to everything, cuss a lot but working on it. I’m from chicago but moved here when I was 10 but been here in Kc ever since 💚🫡 & LOVEEE wine!! Not a huge drinker but best believe when we go to kayaking or outdoors activists or events we got our backpack cooler, some beer, shots , and 💨 🍃If anybody ever needs a friend , someone to talk to, or think we sound like we can be good friends reach out.

I’m also trying to get more into my health/walking era and lose some weight… but not TOO crazy because I still love food. Me and food go together REAL BAD 😭😂 I’m a huge foodie and love all food festivals. Mexican food will always have my heart but I definitely dabble in Italian too lol. I love learning how to cook and trying new things even though sometimes I hate the process and the mess after 💀

I love going to carnivals & excited to do everything possible with my baby this summer. I LOVE being in the water, swimming, being outside (not to long) , taking walks (not to far 😂), and spending time with my dog Mars 🐶 He’s 6 years old and one of my favorite things is taking him to the park and playing fetch with him.

I’m also currently building this community while trying to balance motherhood, school, life, relationships, healing, finding myself again, and figuring out what kind of woman/mom/business owner I want to become while also still fighting my own emotional issues that I battle through everyday. So if you’re in that stage too… trust me, you are NOT alone 🤍

I really want this group to feel safe, supportive, funny, real, and drama free. Somewhere moms can be themselves unapologetically.
