Look at this!! A 15,000-Watt Generator!!

An anonymous donor contacted the Red Cross and through their assistance, the Caldwell County COAD, in partnership with the CERT Team and the Caldwell County Food Pantry, has received a generous donation of a 15,000-watt generator.

This partnership of organizations, working under the umbrella of the Caldwell County Foundation, will use the generator to help power the Caldwell County Food Pantry’s refrigeration units during power outages. The generator will also be available to the CERT Team during emergency response situations.

We are grateful for this donation and for the continued partnerships that help strengthen emergency preparedness and support our community.

On Friday, May 15th, another successful Second Harvest Mobile Food Pantry event was held in front of American Legion Post 285 in Hamilton, Missouri. 146 families in 80 vehicles (491 individuals) received food. Each family received Smoked Sausages, Russet Potatoes, Shred Lettuce, Carrots & Eggs.
Thanks and appreciation go out to Second Harvest Community Food Bank for scheduling this event in Hamilton. Thanks also go out to the 16 volunteers from the following organizations for their support of this event: Hamilton CERT team, Hamilton COAD, Caldwell County Foundation Food Pantry, American Legion Post 285 & American Legion Auxiliary Unit 285. Thanks also to the Hamilton & Kidder residents that stopped by to help.

Be on the lookout for your yellow bag next week 💛. But don't worry, if you don’t receive one, you can use any bag or box.
