Led by T-Mobile executive and president of our board, Jodi Schade, the T-Mobile team recently came and packed hundreds of nutritious meals for families. We are so grateful for their partnership!

Overland Park Convention Center is committed to reducing food waste and helping feed local families by partnering with Pete's Garden. Recently they hosted a special event to create made-from-scratch meals for Phoenix Family. OPCC, Chef David Ruiz and their team are truly changing lives by saying yes to redirecting wholesome surplus prepared food.

We did it again! For the third year in a row, Pete's Garden has been recognized by the City of Kansas City Health Department for our commitment to food safety, sanitation and employee education. Safe food recovery requires strict standards, timeliness, refrigerated transportation, committed volunteers and nimble agency partners. Thank you to everyone who helped make this award possible.

At Pete's Garden, we help good food get to where it's needed most. Together with our food donors, corporate partners, volunteers and social service agencies, we do more than fight food waste; we give KC families one less thing to worry about.

As kids head back to school, we want to give a shout out to the incredible young people who gave their precious free time and talent to Pete's Garden. When we see the next generation of leaders help rescue and repackage meals to feed KC families, we know we are in good hands. Have a great school year, students, and come back any time!
