OMG so I weighed her tonight after my last post... I guess I was procrastinating doing it? She wheighed i at....!!!! Far above my expectations.... OMG she is NOW 15.1 OZ!!!!!!!! AMAZING as far as I am concerned💕 she was so skinny & pale 3mo ago I never thought she could be even near the size or color of our beadle Ash... I Was SO WRONG!!!! She's happy healthy & proud ☺🦎Go Liz Go!!

So sorry for lack of updates... She's kinda just became part of routine around my house & just normal for her to be here I guess? BUT!! GREAT things have happened & soon to come!!! We did get her cage to our home quite awhile back & my boyfriend has pretty much completely rebuilt it with extras! 💕 I will post pics of that! She has also finally gained good weight!!! She was less than 10oz when she came here & now even after tail amputation well over 12-13oz! We were planning her return today but rain delayed us as her cage is very large & will have to be moved in back of pickup truck... So 2 more days & she should make it home!!!!

Hey y'all!! So I have been able to schedule an appointment with KC Vet Care tomorrow at 5:00pm this could be up to $200 for visit & medications was the best guess by phone. If you would like to please help me with her care you can call them & pay by phone directly to them towards her care. I appreciate any help for Liz as I know her boys do also!! ❤

So Liz needs to see Vet ASAP toist likely have tail amputated properly to stop the infection first. Then will need meds to help her heal. This is looking like about $300+ to get that done. She also has some spots on her chin & feet that the Vet can also address so she can go home a happy healthy bearded dragon! She has currently been at my home for the last week getting medicated baths & medicine on her tail and spots with hope that would be adequate unfortunately she needs more than that to save her. Any donations would be so greatly appreciated to help her! ❤ I can accept FB money & Venmo currently but if you would like to help any other way just reach out to me & we can arrange it. I am going to set up her an appointment tomorrow 2/12/22 and will post after vet visit to confirm info but then you can also directly put money towards her bill at vet office I'm sure which is the first goal at this point.

So I will start by posting a few things about Liz and her situation! Liz is a Bearded Dragon that was previously a class pet & then in the last year or so was donated to the place she now calls home! She lives with a bunch of boys & they love her very much! She has been an asset to the boys as a Therapy Animal and would love for her to continue to be good for them! Unfortunately she got sick recently & has some health issues including tail rot & possible other spots that need to be seen & addressed by at vet at this point. Now being a state facility of course there's no budget for her care & the staff have been paying for her expenses such as food & light out of their own pockets! ❤❤ they can only do so much & we've given a small help of food here& there but she needs more right now so I'm hoping maybe just MAYBE we can help her so she can go back home healthy to the boys ❤
