The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control Division is proud to announce the installation of our first Pet Microchip Scan Station, now available outside Cabarrus County Animal Control at
244 Betsy Carpenter Pl SW, Concord, NC 28025.

This self-service station allows community members to quickly scan a found pet for a microchip—helping reunite pets with their families before they ever have to enter the shelter.

To scan:
• Follow the instructions listed on the signage above the scanners
• An audible beep will sound if a microchip is detected
• Scan the QR code inside the paw print on the sign for steps on how to notify the pet’s owner

If you are unable to keep the animal while the owner is being located, please contact Emergency Dispatch at 704-920-3000.

Happy (almost) Valentine’s Day! ❤️

We had an unexpected vet bill(s) today due to worm/parasite overload and could use your help! We rescued these puppies last Saturday and thankfully we got them when we did but they are overloaded with worms meaning diarrhea, etc.

We’re asking at least a $50 sponsor for each puppy, if you’re unable to do $50, that’s completely fine or if you would like to do more, that’s great too!

Comment below on which ever puppy you would like to sponsor and the amount (even If It’s not $50, any amount helps) to help pay our vet bill from today, it would be greatly appreciated! Once you do that, send to either our Venmo or PayPal.

Last week we got 6 of these puppies and today we are getting 2 more. There are still 2 more that need a foster home if anyone is interested in fostering the last 2 of this litter. They are probably around 8-10 weeks.

We are really in need of help to get supplies like food, puppy pads, vaccines, etc for them. The last set of five puppies we rescued really depleted our funds since they had several vet visits amounting in several thousands of dollars of vet care. We had to take a little break in taking in dogs because the funds are just not there after getting hit hard with the vet bills we had from the last litter. We know not every single dog we take in is going to be healthy and not everyone is honest when surrendering their animals to us but we do what we have to do and get them back in good health and sometimes that results in many vet visits and thousands of dollars to save their lives.

If you feel the need to help us get back on our feet, it would be greatly appreciated so we can get back to helping more dogs, especially this large litter that we have taken on. We also have an Amazon list pinned on our page. Thank you!
