February 15, 2026 | Mirror Lake Corridor — Ramona Peak

Quick update before another pattern change and the arrival of significant winter storms this week. Avalanche danger will be on the rise, and conditions will be changing significantly.

Our January dry-spell left behind some seriously weak faceted snow that is now buried and preserved beneath the surface. It’s not showings its teeth in very many places yet, but we haven’t had enough snow and water yet to wake it up, but that will soon change.

We’ll keep you in the loop, and make sure to get everything you need before heading out other hill. We’ll catch you out there!

January 10, 2025 | Mirror Lake Corridor - Anchor Peak

Field update from Andy and his travels through the corridor where snow depths averaged 2-4’ and riding condition were all time!

We are still dealing with persistent weak layers near and at the ground that are causing large avalanches. In time, these layers will heal, but for now keep your game tight and check the forecast before you head out!
