demos on houndsmen. We will have a demo
on night hunting and long-range shooting.
Make sure to attend the first aid class By
Racheal Vargas for children and young at
heart. We have other family events for the
young outdoorsmen. Saturday is mountain
man dress up day, so please bring your best
regalia and enter to win a prize for the best
dressed. This will be a fun time.

The Montana Fur Harvesters are planning a Rendezvous in Ronan on May 16 to the 18th. They are planning for best period costume contest and several demonstrations and I thought it might be a good opportunity to recruit people into muzzleloaders. We will have exhibit booths as well where you could sell memberships. If you're interested, I can check on particulars.

At the last meeting we had 32 people show up and participate in the meeting.
We had elections for the new officers!!
Thank you and congratulations to the new officers,
President Joel Hewitt
Vice President Warren Fortenberry
Secretary/Treasurer Amber Hewitt.
Thank you for stepping up and serving. Also, thank you to all of the past officers that have served over the years. Randy, Steve, and Stephanie have done a great job for us! The club can not continue without people stepping up to serve in these positions.

A bit of an update here on the club. The Kootenai River Muzzleloaders have merged with the Flathead Valley Muzzleloaders. We will henceforth be known as the Flathead Kootenai Muzzleloaders. I hope Alex knows how to edit the page name, I don't.
Like many clubs, the Kootenai River Muzzleloaders were affected by the aging out of participants. So, merging to combine man power and insurance will help the rendezvous and shoots continue. It will also save carrying insurance on two separate clubs.
Welcome aboard to our old friends from the Libby area!
