The Kalaheo Co-op is officially opening today at Yellow House Kalaheo!

We’re so excited to create a space where local vendors can share their products with the community. Stop by anytime we’re open to see what’s available — there’s always something new to discover!

Follow us and for updated dates and times, or just keep an eye out for the sandwich board out front.

Backyard Books is officially open!! The shelves are stocked with kids’ books from board books to YA. This is a shared community library - take a book, leave a book or just come browse . . . it’s always free and open to anyone. Come join us for the grand opening of Backyard Books at Yellow House Kalaheo, our new community book exchange for all ages - from board books to adult reads. Take a book, leave a book, or just come to browse . . . it’s always free and open to everyone.

To celebrate our grand opening this weekend, we’ll be giving away a brand new book to every keiki who attends (choices range from board books and picture books through early chapter books to YA), thanks to a generous donation from Brainfood Books!

Bring the family on Saturday between 4-6pm and enjoy:

Something new is coming to Yellow House Kalaheo!

We’re launching the Kalaheo Co-op, a shared market stand for local makers, bakers, growers, and crafters.

Sell your products with no booth fee — co-op members simply take turns working the stand and selling everyone’s goods.

Perfect for:

🧶 makers & artists
🍯 jam and preserves makers

This weekend, we’re so excited to host the Kaua‘i Keiki Holiday Market at Yellow House Kalaheo!

From 9am–2pm, come support our local keiki (18 & under) who will be selling handmade jewelry, art, crafts, and holiday gifts they’ve created themselves. It’s a wonderful chance to shop small, shop local, and encourage young makers in our community.


We’ll also have holiday treats, holiday crafts for kids to make, and plenty of delicious food and drinks from our on-site vendors: Da Wicked Brew, Kauai Dawgs, Za Kauai, and Moonlight Gelato. Ned’s Farmstand will be open with fresh local produce for you.


Bring the family, enjoy good food, and help us celebrate creativity, connection, and community this holiday season. We’d love to see you there!

We’re excited to announce that we are hosting a Kaua‘i Keiki Holiday Market at Yellow House Kalaheo!

On December 20 from 9am–2pm, keiki and teens (18 & under) are invited to sell the things they create — jewelry, crafts, gifts, art… anything handmade with heart.

There’s no booth fee, and we have a limited number of tables available to reserve for free (first come, first reserve).

If your keiki wants to participate, please register by December 8.

We’re happy to share that Yellow House Kalaheo is now an official Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank donation spot.

From the start, we’ve hoped Yellow House could be a place where people come together — to grab good food, hang out, have fun, and help build the kind of connected, caring community we all want to be part of. And in times like these, supporting each other matters more than ever.

KIFB is holding a food drive through December 31. If you’d like to kokua, you can drop non-perishable food donations in the yellow bin at the corner of Papalina & Alelo. We’ll deliver everything collected to the Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank each week.

Mahalo for helping us make this little spot in Kalaheo a place of aloha.
