What a night! Jupiter Medical Center’s 49th Annual Black-Tie Ball at The Breakers Palm Beach brought together philanthropists, community leaders, and friends, all in support of our mission and future. We are especially grateful to our presenting sponsors, Linda and John Purdy, for their incredible generosity.
Thanks to a lively auction, amazing entertainment, and a remarkable $350,000 matching gift from the Booth Foundation, we raised over $1.7 million to support the expansion of the Margaret W. Niedland Breast Center. The expansion will add 13,000 square feet of advanced technology, helping us improve access, reduce wait times, and provide earlier, more precise diagnoses for our patients.
Chaired by Suzanne Niedland, daughter of the Center’s namesake, the evening highlighted the impact of community-driven philanthropy. Last fall, Jupiter Medical Center set an ambitious $15 million fundraising goal to expand the Margaret W. Niedland Breast Center. We’re excited to share that, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our community, $10 million has already been raised. A remarkable lead gift from Dorothy J. Thomson is honored in the Center’s Healing Garden, a tranquil space offering comfort and reflection to patients and their loved ones. We’re equally appreciative of Suzanne Niedland’s generous contribution, which will be commemorated through the naming of the Suzanne L. Niedland Atrium, an inviting beacon of hope and healing for everyone who enters. To learn more about the expansion, visit jmcfoundation.org.
