It was out of His love for her. He loves the deepest sinner. He loves you and me. He knows what we need to hear and draws us to Himself.

I was reading this am about a wealthy man in our county who passed away. I thought 'Lord why aren't we wealthy like him.' I then got a 'knowing' in my heart that the riches that I have are worth exponentially more than the riches that were owned by this person. I can't ever fathom how great the riches of heaven are! I am so blessed! Way beyond the wealthiest person in the world!

"Drinking the Koolaid" is akin to eating the fruit from the tree in Genesis 3. We buy into a lie and it changes things forever. But God in His mercy doesn't change what we've done but He does intervene and bring about redemption!

Even when we are going through a 'dry spell' it doesn't change a thing! God is still loving you and working on your behalf. You are 'awesome' to Him!

17 Some were fools through their sinful ways, and because of their iniquities suffered affliction;
18 they loathed any kind of food, and they drew near to the gates of death.
19 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress.
20 He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.

When we rebel against Gods word darkness comes. But His mercy is abundant and all we need do is cry out to Him and He saves us, sets us free!!!!

In the absence of God's word is calamity!

Two churches in Hikkaduwa, Galle District, were attacked on Jan. 12, and a third, in Pitipana, Homagama, Colombo District, was set on fire the same day.

The Assemblies of God and Calvary churches in Hikkaduwa had received warnings prior to the attacks and were promised police protection. However, during worship services on Jan. 12, about 300 people led by Buddhist monks stormed the churches and obstructed a main road, claiming the Christians' presence was illegal. The mob dispersed only after a senior police officer promised that the churches would be closed until Feb. 10, during which time a solution would be sought.

The Church of the Foursquare Gospel, in Pitipana, was set on fire by unidentified attackers during a prayer vigil. The fire was doused before serious damage could occur. A threatening note was left on the gate of the church.
