As one of Jupiter’s rare preserved historic landmarks, this recognition is deeply meaningful to our family.

What began as a mission to preserve local history has become a uniquely Jupiter dining experience—where community, history, and hospitality meet.

To be recognized alongside some of the area’s most established names is something we are incredibly proud of.

Last night, we had the true honor of hosting a Rehearsal Dinner for such an amazing local family here at The Historic Sims House.

There are evenings that go beyond just a gathering and this was one of them.

The love, the energy, the way their family embraced our historic home it’s something that meant more to me and my family than words can fully express. Moments like these are exactly why we do what we do preserving this special place and sharing it with people who truly appreciate it.

To welcome such a wonderful family into our little corner of Jupiter, and to have them celebrate such an important milestone here, is something our town can be proud of.

Nights like last night remind us all just how special this community really is.

We are so humbled by this message that was sent to us by a world renowned Chef.

“Places like the Sims House are rare intimate, historic, and supported by a real community that appreciates the experience of dining.”

“What if chefs from around the country came down and cooked a short residency in that courtyard… a chance to showcase their craft in a setting where guests truly care about the story behind the food?”

I’ll admit… the idea stopped me in my tracks.

The Historic Sims House has always been about creating something a little different — a place where people gather under the lights of a 1924 home and share an experience together.

So it got me thinking…

What if, a few times each year, the Sims House courtyard became a stage for guest chefs to showcase their culinary style in an intimate setting?

Town of Jupiter we just want to say thank you. ❤️

As much as we would love to be that big, mainstream restaurant in town… that’s simply not who we are — and truthfully, that’s by design.

The Historic Sims House is a small adaptive-reuse property with a minimal footprint and limited seating. We are reservation-only, built around courtyard intimacy, conversation, candlelight, and an experience that feels personal — not commercial.

We don’t have a loud sign out front.
We don’t run big advertising campaigns.
We don’t try to be everything to everyone.

For six years, we’ve grown the only way we know how — through you.

Through word of mouth.
Through neighbors bringing friends.
Through this community choosing to support something a little different.

If you’ve ever been patient with our limited seating…
If you’ve understood why we keep it small…
If you’ve appreciated what we’re trying to preserve here…

Please know how deeply grateful we are.

We are nothing without our community.
And we truly love ours.
