We were able to secure a new date for the Community Chipping Event. 🎉 Please bring your vegetation to be chipped on Saturday, October 10th to the Julian High School/Library parking lot from 9 am to 1 pm.

🍂 Please NO large rounds or large diameter tree trunks. The crew must be able to pick the material up; there will not be a chainsaw on site to cut into smaller pieces.

🍃 Please NO poison/ivy/sumac or materials with a bug infestation.

🍁 Residents must bring the materials to be chipped to the site; we will not be able to go around and collect it.

🚨UPDATE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. IT WILL BE RESCHEDULED FOR ANOTHER DATE. 🚨 We're hosting another FREE Community Chipping Event on Saturday, August 8th from 9 am to 1 pm at the Julian High School/Library parking lot.

🍂 Please NO large rounds or large diameter tree trunks. The crew much be able to pick the material up; there will not be a chainsaw on site to cut into smaller pieces.

This Saturday, July 11th, is the first of two free community chipping events this summer. CAL FIRE personnel will be at the Julian High School/Library parking lot from 9 am to 1 pm to chip your cut vegetation. Everyone in the Julian, Wynola and Cuyamaca areas are welcome! Free giveaways for your emergency go bag will be available too!

Fully extinguish campfires, dispose of ci******es properly, avoid parking on dry grass, and make sure trailer chains aren't dragging.
