We’re excited for the Sean Rodriguez concert coming up in October. If you’ve ever seen him in concert you know how awesome he is. We also have Grace and Max and Judah we are so excited to have them come as well. You won’t want to miss this concert. We still have some VIP tickets left for $25. Wow, summer is almost over and most of you will be in school soon, if you haven’t already started. A fresh new start, with new friends and new teachers and maybe even a new school. The chance to be a light in the darkness around you. My prayer this year is that you will draw closer to God and find friends who will encourage you to get there. May you enjoy the time of your youth, yet gain knowledge that will live with you throughout your life.

God told us we are the salt of the earth and if our salt has lost its savor it is good for nothing, but to be trampled under the foot of men.
Matthew 5:13

Some things salt can do:
Salt can preserve
Salt can enhance what it is put on
Salt can melt ice
Salt can help heal a wound

Salt, much like our lives, we too can help preserve people for the Kingdom of God.
We can enhance others relationships with Christ, by being an example of Christ.
Like salt, our words of life and compassion can help melt the hardest heart and we can help heal wounds of brokenness and hurt.

So this year be salty and be the light. God is looking for vessels He can use for His glory. Will you be the one God uses this year?

Before we know it the October 18th Sean Rodriguez concert will be here. Have you saved the date yet? You don’t want to miss this concert. It’s going to be awesome. Invite your friends and come celebrate Jesus with us.

If everyone could just comment what state you are from and how you heard about us. We would love to see how far Acts 29 has gone and hear from you.
I’ll start. We’re from Joplin, Missouri and My son started Acts 29 The Awakening because of a dream he had in his heart for the youth.

I bet you guessed it and for those of you who haven’t, is it official……Sean Rodriguez will be doing a live concert with the wonderful Grace and Max, and a new, upcoming artist Judah Avenue. This is a night you don’t want to miss. It will be Sunday Night
October 18th, 2026 from 5:30-8:00 pm. At One Church Joplin 2802 New Hampshire Joplin, Mo.
We will have 25 VIP passes for sale for $25 each. All proceeds will go to Acts 29 to further more concerts. The VIP tickets will include the ability to get in an hour early, extra tickets for drawing, time to spend with Sean and the artists before the show, and few extras. The value of VIP items will exceed the cost of the VIP, its a great deal Get it before they are gone!
If you would like to purchase a VIP ticket it MUST be paid at the time of purchase. There will be no holding of tickets unless they have been paid for. There are only 25 VIP tickets, so get yours before they’re gone. The rest will be general admission tickets.
This is a concert you don’t want to miss. Tell your friends and come join us for a night of music, fun and God centered praise and worship. We can’t wait to see you there.
