Did you know...playing pickleball will put meals on tables?

We serve around 150-165 meals per day. Each meal is approximately $3.
That $70 registration = about 23 meals for someone in our community and your support helps us serve 43,000+ hot meals every year ❤️

We are excited to be welcoming Captains Larry and Gloria Carmichael to Jasper and Newton counties! ❤️

Captains Larry and Gloria Carmichael are officers with The Salvation Army who share a passion for preaching the gospel, serving their communities, and helping people experience the transforming love of Jesus Christ. Before marrying, both Larry and Gloria faithfully served as single Salvation Army officers for eight years. They will soon celebrate two years of marriage and ministry together, combining their unique gifts and experiences in service to God and others.

Together, the Carmichaels are committed to holistic ministry that reaches people with both compassion and purpose. Outside of ministry, they enjoy hiking, kayaking, listening to audiobooks, and spending quality time together. Larry also happily admits that one of his favorite hobbies is enjoying Gloria’s cooking, which is one of the many ways she expresses care and hospitality to family, friends, and those they get to serve.

Through preaching, teaching, worship, outreach, and community programs, Captains Larry and Gloria Carmichael seek to serve others with compassion, dignity, and the transforming love of Christ.
