Do you judge disorganized people?

Does clutter make you feel crazy?

Have you ever wished someone would call you and ask you to sort and organize thousands upon thousands of items at a giant warehouse on a Saturday?

If you said yes to any of these, then we NEED you! At Furnishing Foundations Furniture Bank, our mission is to provide free furniture and home essentials to people who are starting over.

Our warehouse, shared with 72: The Mission is in chaos. We have had to stop all out going donations because basically, we can’t find anything without spending 30 minutes looking for a toaster that, “I know I saw yesterday.”

If you have a desire to give back to an organization, scratch your organizing itch or pass your high school student off to us for volunteer hours, then we welcome you.

I desperately need to trap a raccoon that is living in the 72: The Mission / Furnishing Foundations Furniture Bank warehouse.

I have been using a smaller trap and apparently he is smarter than me.

Is there anyone that has a large animal trap that I may use for 24-48 hours to find this little guy a new home in the woods? He has been eating the donated dog food and scratching furniture and I am ready for him to go 😅

Since our official launch one month ago, we have been able to serve 6 families in furnishing their home with furniture, kitchen and home essentials, hygiene and cleaning items.

Our stock is running low on several items and we are completely out of many items that we need to have on hand to alleviate the financial burden for those starting over.

We have created a wishlist with Walmart. Many items are available in store for pick up and some can be shipped. Will you consider making a purchase to help those in need? These items can be purchased at any other store as well.

WE CAN PROVIDE A TAX RECEIPT FOR DONATIONS.

This picture may look like a pile of clutter. But it is actually handpicked items by a woman starting over. To the right of this photo are the couch, chair, bed and other furniture designated for her new home.

Everyone of these items was graciously donated by many people who care and who want to impact the life of another person.

This woman will be able to sleep in her home from day one knowing that she has a bed to sleep in, food to eat, toiletries, everything for her kitchen, and even lamps and wall art to make the space feel more like a home.

We have many more people on the wait list that are on their journey to a new life and every donation is impactful 🧡💙

News & Updates: I am extremely thankful that we have been given an opportunity to share warehouse space with 72: The Mission .

They have already received so many donations of bedding, pillows, kitchen essentials, beds and furniture. This means that we can help those now who are in need. But there are items that have run out and we need these things to be able to give someone a complete home.

Last week I was contacted by a mother who left a bad situation and is now getting her first apartment for her and her children. The only thing they have are their clothes. I committed to her that we will do all that we can to meet every need that she has. We can provide the beds, kitchen essentials and bathroom essentials and even decor to make things cozier. But we need the items listed below. For her and for others.

At this time, we cannot pick up. If you can volunteer a few hours on a saturday to pick them up, we would be so appreciative. We are working together with other Non Profits to take care of of our community. The work isn't over and the needs will not stop. Please help us with these items if you can.
