Thanks to a renewed partnership between ISBE and ParenTeach Institute, Illinois schools can once again gain free access to ParentABLE — a proven, evidence-based and trauma-informed curriculum that gives high school students essential caregiving skills. The program aligns with Illinois’ Social Emotional Learning and Health & Wellness Standards, and provides certificates for students and educators, plus professional development hours and stipends for teachers.
New this year: ParentABLE On-Demand extends learning to parents and caregivers, strengthening family-school partnerships and creating lasting impact for students, families, and communities.
