Are you a student athlete about to take on the conference tournament and championship season? If so, we encourage you to check out our Mind of a Champion program! Built from the same foundation as the Resilient Youth Initiative, the online Mind of a Champion program is designed to help bring mental wellness and performance skills into your child's sports activities. Through techniques used by Olympic and professional athletes — including visualization, mindfulness, goal-setting, and pre-performance routines — you’ll learn how to help your child athlete:

💪 Build resilience that lasts beyond the field
🎯 Stay focused under pressure
🏆 Develop confidence through wins and losses
📚 Apply these same tools to academics and life

The Mind of a Champion program teaches all of this, and it works for school, life, and any sport. Through United Way of Will County, with support from the ARPA grant, this program is provided at no cost to Will County athletes in grades 5–12 and their families.
