Diaper need is often connected to larger financial challenges. Many families struggling to afford diapers are also navigating circumstances that make it difficult to access or manage the resources needed to care for their children. Through Diaper Depot, we're helping remove one of those barriers by providing diapers to local families and helping parents stretch limited resources a little further.

United Way of Will County’s Resilient Youth program is helping more than 12,000 students build the skills they need to navigate challenges, manage stress, and grow with confidence, thanks to our partnerships with over 44 schools and nonprofits! When communities come together, we can equip young people with resilience that lasts far beyond the classroom.

School is almost in session, which means students are already gearing up for the upcoming fall sports season! For us, that means it's the perfect time to reintroduce you to our Mind of a Champion program. If you are one of the many student-athletes involved in a fall sport, this is for you.

Our online program teaches the same skills used by Olympic athletes and sports pros: visualization, mindfulness, confidence-building, and goal-setting. These skills allow athletes to:

🏆 Perform their best under pressure
🔄 Bounce back from setbacks faster
🎯 Stay focused on and off the field
💪 Build lasting self-confidence

This isn’t just sports training; it’s life preparation! Through United Way of Will County, with support from the ARPA grant, this program is provided at no cost to Will County athletes in grades 5–12 and their families.

To date, United Way of Will County has distributed 19,209 Resilient Youth manuals to students across our community. These manuals provide practical tools and lessons that help students build resilience, manage stress, and navigate challenges both in and out of the classroom!
