Citizens for a Safe Johnston

Citizens for a Safe Johnston Vote YES for public safety in Johnston on August 2nd! www.SafeJohnston.com The time has come to make public safety a priority.

Later this year, Johnston citizens will have the opportunity to vote on a bond referendum to build a Public Safety Building and a stand-alone fire station in western Johnston. Despite doubling its population in just the last decade, Johnston still has only one fire station and Johnston police continue to share a converted grocery store with city hall. As a result, emergency response times can be i

nadequate, investigations could be at risk and future growth of the community and local economy is put in jeopardy. A broad-based coalition made up of local citizens, leaders and first responders have joined together to ask Johnston residents to Vote Yes! on the referendum to keep Johnston citizens safe and secure for generations to come.
