No school today for Ari and Ali’s foster sibling… so naturally, they had a sleepover. 😂

The agenda? Staying up way too late, taking over the big bed, lots of cuddles, and probably very little actual sleeping.

Ari and Ali are sweet, silly puppies who are more than ready to bring this kind of chaos and cuteness to forever homes of their own.

Georgie is learning that the world isn’t quite so scary after all 💜

This sweet puppy is still working on building her confidence, and for now, one of her favorite comforts is snuggling up with a stuffed toy — with a little chewing mixed in, of course.

You may notice Georgie has a cherry eye. This is something that can often be corrected during her spay surgery, and the rescue has already raised $200 to help offset that cost for her future adopter.

What Georgie really needs most is a patient, loving family who will give her the time and reassurance she needs to keep coming out of her shell.

Homer has discovered that having a dog friend is way more interesting than spinning in circles. 🐾

We’ve noticed that when Homer is engaged, playing, and distracted, he tends to be much less spin-y — and this yard playdate was a perfect example.

He’s still our big, goofy puppy with a few quirks, but he’s also playful, social, and clearly loving the chance to just be a dog.

Homer is looking for a family who will embrace him exactly as he is and keep showing him how much fun the world can be.

Georgie has discovered her new hobby: excavation. 😂🪏

This sweet girl is getting braver by the day, and apparently that confidence now includes running around outside, being completely silly, and digging like she has very important puppy business underground.

For some dogs, digging can actually be a great enrichment activity. With a little guidance, pet parents can teach pups where digging is allowed so everyone stays happy — designated dig spot included.

We love seeing Georgie come out of her shell and show us more of her goofy side.

Meet Homer — a 5-month-old neutered gray pit bull mix who is equal parts stunning, silly, and completely lovable.

Homer came into the shelter with severely infected ears that caused a ruptured eardrum. After several weeks of medication, his ear is healing well, but Homer still spins in circles to the left. At his check-up today, the vet said he may simply need more time to recover… or this may just be one of those little things that makes Homer, Homer.

And Homer is SO much more than his spins.

He is a BIG, goofy puppy who loves to play, bounce around, make people laugh, and soak up all the attention he can get. He’s ready for a family who won’t be worried about him being a little different — just one who will love the whole silly package.

Homer may take a few extra circles to get where he’s going, but we’re hoping his next stop is home.
