Our annual joint campout between our Cub Scouts & Boy Scouts was at Volga State Park. Fishing, canoeing and cooking skills were all highlighted. Another wonderful weekend of outdoor adventures is in the books!

Jesup IA RAGBRAI 2026 was absolutely incredible!! We met some of the kindest and most generous people from all across the US! We heard from many Eagle Scouts, Scoutmasters and parents who shared their love of Scouting and appreciation for all the kids do to put on a food booth as extensive as ours! They really enjoyed reading all of our Eagle Scout plaques around the booth. They were patient with Cub Scouts taking the orders, engaged many Scouts in conversion about their adventures, kept our pavilion nice & clean, handed out Scout patches from their state and shared their personal Scouting experiences! Many came back 2-3 times while participating in the additional 250 loop! The day was a steady stream of smiles and our Scouts earned a great deal of money to pay for camp, dues, activities and equipment. What a wonderful way to lighten the financial load for their families in just one day! All while learning so many valuable life skills!! We also tried out a new menu item that was an instant success so watch for our new loaded fries at future events! Thank you to all who volunteered to make this exciting event such a huge success!!
