HUSAY (Hudson-Union Sports Association for Youth) is a non-profit organization recognized by the State of New Jersey, that promotes youth basketball program in Hudson and Union county for young boys and girls ages 6-20. Our mission is to develop better athletes by organizing and promoting sports activities that teaches sportsmanship, discipline and character. Core Values:

HUSAY established the core values are very important to build a child’s character not only in the basketball court but also in life. The coaches and trainers will establish rules and regulations for the players to follow to recognize and practice these core values. VISION:
HUSAY has the vision of providing opportunity to play the game of basketball and other sports to all youth. It is the organizations goal to establish partnerships with different basketball communities and organizations to make sure every child has an opportunity to play the sport. Funding/Finances:
As a registered non-profit organization we will rely mostly on sponsorships, donations and corporate sponsors to finance expenses of the team which includes, uniforms, tournament fees and travel expenses. These sponsorships and donations will greatly assist players financially and decrease the burden of expenses from their parents. It will also help children who are financially incapable of paying expenses to play basketball. HUSAY will also organize different fund raising activities which 100% of the proceeds will go the funds of the organization. Programs and future programs:
Basketball training and development from basic fundamentals to strength and conditioning to build an overall athlete to be able to compete on tournaments both local and intercity. Basketball tournaments organized by HUSAY that can be sponsored by different corporations or companies. Volunteer opportunities to the players as part of their community service requirements in school. Give back program – since the organization is relying on donations and sponsorships, HUSAY players and members will also participate in charity events in the community. This program will also build a players character by learning the concept of giving back and sharing blessings to others. Big Brother program – older players will be assisting younger players to facilitate success in the sport.
