An hour at the gym isn't enough... Prolonged sitting can ruin your healthy habits!

Even if you exercise for an hour a day, prolonged sitting can be linked to an increased risk of heart disease, diabetes, and other health problems.

The solution isn't just exercise, but also reducing your sitting time throughout the day. Try to move around for a few minutes every hour, take a short walk, or do some simple stretches.

Your body needs continuous movement, not just an hour of activity followed by hours of sitting.

How many hours a day do you spend in front of a screen? Share with us in the comments.

🩸 Not all acts of heroism are told; some begin with a single drop of blood.

On World Blood Donor Day, we celebrate every person who chooses to give life and hope to a stranger, simply because humanity unites them.

Your donation takes only minutes of your time... but it can have a lasting impact on someone's life for years to come.

🩸 Be a source of hope.

Staying up late is not merely a passing habit, as some people assume. It is a hidden factor that can weaken the immune system, increase the likelihood of infections, and negatively affect mental clarity and emotional balance. Sleep is not a luxury that can be dispensed with; rather, it is a fundamental biological necessity for maintaining both physical and mental health and for restoring energy day after day.

How many hours do you usually stay awake at night? And have you noticed the impact this has on your energy levels and overall health?

On June 8, World Brain Tumor Awareness Day,

we reaffirm that early awareness can make the difference between delayed diagnosis and survival. Symptoms that may seem minor—such as persistent headaches or disturbances in vision and concentration—deserve attention and should not be ignored.

Early diagnosis opens the door to treatment and offers a greater chance of survival. Let us be more vigilant about our health, listen more carefully to the signals our bodies send us, and make knowledge a shield that protects us and awareness a way of life.

Taking care of your health isn't limited to old age; it begins with young people understanding the importance of regular checkups as the first line of defense for maintaining the body's balance and well-being.

The most important of these checkups include a complete blood count (CBC) to detect anemia and infections, a blood sugar test to identify any early abnormalities,
and lipid profile (cholesterol and triglycerides) to monitor heart health. Other important checkups include blood pressure measurement, liver and kidney function tests, vitamin D and B12 levels, urinalysis, and in some cases, a thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) test.

These simple procedures contribute to early detection and give young people a real opportunity to adopt a healthy lifestyle based on prevention rather than treatment.

A Silent Threat That Can Be Prevented

Prostate cancer is one of the most common types of cancer among men worldwide. Medical experts warn of its silent nature, as it can develop without clear symptoms in its early stages, delaying diagnosis and making treatment more complex.

Visceral fat, which accumulates in the abdominal area, is one of the most dangerous types of fat in the body.

It's not just about appearance; it's directly linked to an increased risk of heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure due to its impact on hormonal balance and internal organ function. It also contributes to chronic inflammation within the body.

Despite its prevalence, this type of fat can be reduced through a healthy lifestyle based on a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and sufficient sleep.
