English services are Sundays 10:30-12:30 am. All are welcome. Eastern Christian Church (ECC) was founded and opened its doors more than 40 years ago in Jersey City, New Jersey. Since then, the church has grown in numbers and in ministry. With the current leased building restrictions and conditions, we felt the need to find our own Church to continue God’s work in the way is intended to be. After p
raying and waiting for God’s time, we were blessed to find a New Home In Jersey City that we can call our own to worship and praise the lord’s name freely without restrictions. By Faith and God’s well, we will do the closing on the new Church building by the end of October 2014. It’s going to cost more than what we have, yes. But there is NOTHING impossible for our limitless Lord Jesus Christ. By Faith, Trust in the Lord, your Prayer, and your help and donations, We will be able to move to our New Home. Our initial cost for the project for down payment is about $300000.00 which we collected $100000.00 so far, in addition to about another $300000.00 will be needed for necessary renovations for the building before we can move in. We trust in the Lord, your Love, and Support to continue God’s Work. After prayer, whatever God’s put in your heart, you can donate through PayPal Icon in our Page, or Write a check payable to “ECC”, but in the MEMO section don’t forget to write “New Church Project”. If you have any question about Finance, Please contact our Treasury personal, Maher Awad, and Michael Bassili. You can reach us on this Page or Contact Pastor Raif Azab, Senior Pastor of the Church. God Bless you and Use you More for His Glory
2 Corinthians 8:7-10
But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you[a]—see that you also excel in this grace of giving. I am not commanding you, but I want to test the sincerity of your love by comparing it with the earnestness of others. 9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.
10 And here is my judgment about what is best for you in this matter. Last year you were the first not only to give but also to have the desire to do so.
2 Corinthians 9:6-11
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 9 As it is written:
“They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor;
their righteousness endures forever.”[a]
10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
