Today, Saturday, June 23, UNETE Foundation, in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Dominican Republic in New Jersey and the CDI of Hackensack Meridian Health, through the NJCEED program, carried out a successful health screening focused on the prevention of cervical cancer.
Free preventive clinical screenings were also provided, reaffirming the shared commitment of all participating institutions to early detection, prevention, and equitable access to healthcare services for our communities.

UNETE Foundation extends its deepest gratitude to all the teams who made this event possible, working together for one purpose: saving lives through prevention. 💙

UNETE Foundation, en colaboración con el CDI de Hackensack Meridian Health y el Consulado de la República Dominicana en Nueva Jersey, a través del programa NJCEED, invita a los residentes de la ciudad de Paterson que no cuentan con seguro médico a participar en una jornada gratuita de prevención y detección temprana de cáncer.

📅 Sábado 13 de junio
🕘 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
📍 140 Market Street, 5.º Piso, Paterson, NJ 07505

Durante esta jornada se ofrecerán, sin costo, los siguientes estudios y pruebas preventivas:

• Papanicolaou (detección de cáncer cervicouterino)
• Prueba de sangre para detección de cáncer de próstata
• Colesterol
• Triglicéridos
• Hemoglobina A1c (HbA1c)

This afternoon, during the cervical cancer prevention event, our President welcomed the City Clerk of the City of Paterson, Edith Gil, who toured the medical office facilities of in Paterson.
During the visit, the Foundation’s purpose and mission were shared, as well as the impact of its work in the community, allowing the official to gain firsthand insight into the efforts UNETE carries out to promote access to healthcare and the well-being of the population.
