Updated Hours:
Starting September 1st we will open at 3 pm Monday through Friday and Noon Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, the kitchen will be closed Sundays with Taco Night moved to Saturdays.

Our mission at the Jenkins VFW Post 3839 continues to be supporting veterans, service members, their families and the local community, this is a temporary tactical retreat to regroup and come back even stronger. We’ve got a lot planned for this Fall and Winter!

What an amazing day! The Jenkins Community really came together today to show these two American Heroes - Jack & Don - how much they mean to us. We had such a great time fishing, swapping stories, talking tough and enjoying each others’ company and the outdoors!

We are truly blessed getting to spend time with these Veterans. Both men were born and raised in Northern Minnesota, served their country honorably and returned home to continue serving our community. We do what we do today thanks to the hard work and sacrifices made by these gentlemen and their peers. Jack & Don said they were more grateful than words could express for everyone making them feel so welcome and appreciated!

A huge thank you to Dan, Phil and Steve of Veterans on the Water, Rick from Reichert Bus, the Northern Post Honey Badgers, the employees of the Jenkins VFW Post 3839 and everyone that stopped in to welcome the boys and wish them well!
