As a member of the Jeffersonville/Clark County NAACP, I wanted to thank the Jeffersonville Police Department for hosting our Regular Meeting last night! Special thanks to Interim Chief Scott McVoy, Assistant Chief Josh Lynch, and Major Todd Hollis for the in-depth presentation on JPD’s leadership structure and data driven community policing strategies. Huge thanks to our President, Sue Wright for her leadership and collaboration.

JPD responded to over 45k calls for service in 2024 and is on pace to surpass that number in 2025. With our proximity to a large metropolitan city, as well as our position in a major transportation crossroads, proactive and engaged policing will always be necessary. Trust and open communication is vital, and I appreciated the open and honest dialogue last night.
