We are Troop/Crew/Pack 209 based out of Lynnhurst United Church of Christ. We have always believed Scouting was made for everyone, no matter race, gender, religion, income, disabilities, or any other matter. We accept all those who come to us s part of our family of scouters and we strive to give every youth the best experience we can. We have always struggle to get out Scouts in a full uniform, to pay for outings such as summer camp, and to provide necessary essentials for camping and/or merit badges. we rely on what parents can offer and what the leaders provide from the own pocket. As everyone knows, we are all volunteer’s, we do not get paid for what we do, so budgets are quite thin when trying to provide for an entire Troop, Crew, and Pack. We are hoping to receive some help from other scouters, past scouters, and supporters. We are fundraising for Uniforms; including but not limited to Class A shirts in Tans, Greens, and Blues. Uniform pants/ Shorts in the BSA Green, Blue, and Grey, and any belts, neckerchiefs, sashes, and red vests. We are also trying to get help in essentials for camping, outings, and essential bags i.e., Tents, cookware, sleeping bags, ropes, flint and steels, first aid items, flashlights, lanterns, Scout books, compass', whistles, and any other items that anyone would graciously donate.
