The JACOC Christmas Parade is back, and this year's theme is A Disney Christmas!

From classic Disney favorites to Pixar and beyond, we welcome all things Disney! Get creative with your floats, vehicles, walking groups, or other fun entries and help us bring a little extra magic to downtown Jefferson!

There’s a lot happening in Jefferson this fall — and you won’t want to miss it!

From spooky nights in the woods to historic lantern tours and a Christmas shopping adventure, Jefferson has something for everyone as we head into the fall and holiday season.

(A note from JACOC: The following events are not hosted or organized by the Jefferson Area Chamber of Commerce (JACOC). We’re simply excited to help spread the word about some of the great events happening right here in our community. Each event is hosted by the organization listed below, so please direct questions and event-specific inquiries to the appropriate host.)

HAUNTED WOODS
October 9 & 10 | 7:00–10:00 PM
Hosted by Jefferson Community Recreation Center (JCRC)

Are you brave enough? The Haunted Woods returns with live actors and creepy surprises for an evening that promises a different kind of nightmare. Admission is $5 per person.

LANTERN TOURS: THE BLACK DEATH
October 16–17 & October 23–24 | 7:00–9:00 PM
Hosted by Jefferson Depot Village

Step back in time and experience Jefferson Depot Village after dark. The Lantern Tours return with The Black Death, bringing history to life in a haunting nighttime experience. Admission is $5 per person, with a $20 family pass available for 2 adults and 2+ children. Children ages 3 and under are free.

ADVENTURE IN TOYLAND
November 28 | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Jefferson Expo Building at the Fairgrounds
Hosted by The Jefferson Grange

Get ready for a full day of Christmas shopping, toys and holiday fun. Adventure in Toyland will feature toy makers, toy crafters, toy vendors, collectors and sellers, along with breakfast from 8:00–10:00 AM and lunch to follow. Admission is free.

And there’s a $1,500 LEGO grand prize up for grabs! Tickets are $10 each, with the drawing held at the conclusion of the event.

Three great events. Three very different experiences. One great community.

The Jefferson Rotary Ham & Bean Soup Sale is coming up! Nearly 50 years of delicious soup, community spirit, and giving back.

🔥 Cooked the old-fashioned way in cast-iron kettles over open fires, this hearty soup is more than just a great meal—it helps support local projects and scholarships right here in our community.

📍 Pierpont Pioneer Picnic Grounds – Middle Rd., Pierpont
🎟️ 1 spot – $5
🎟️ 6 spots – $10
💰 The winner receives half of the money collected!
Spots are drawn at random and assigned to your ticket. The winner is determined by where the cow decides to make its “deposit”! 😂🐄💩

And the best part? Your support helps Jefferson Grange #1311 give back to our community.

Co****le fundraiser proceeds will help purchase a new fryer for the diner at the fairgrounds. Money raised at the fair also helps support nonprofit organizations and individuals in need of food or clothing.

The Cow Plop Drop helps provide general funds for community donations and future fundraising efforts.

The Jefferson Historical Society has a fun weekend planned, and we hope you’ll join them!

Come check out the Quilt Display and enjoy demonstrations by the Lake Erie Quilters.

Come back for corn fritters and other snacks, enjoy a friendly game of Corn Hole hosted by the Jefferson Ohio Rotary Club, and take a look at the Pollinator Garden at the Jefferson Historical Society! 🌼

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who came out and made the Jefferson Area Chamber of Commerce Summerfest such an incredible success!
The Kids Zone was filled with nonstop giggles, laughter, and excitement all day long. We enjoyed amazing food, wonderful entertainment, and a fantastic group of vendors who graciously rolled with some last-minute setup changes. Your patience and support meant so much!
We couldn't have asked for better weather, a better crowd, or a stronger sense of community. Seeing everyone come together to support this event is exactly what Summerfest is all about.
A very special thank you goes to our amazing volunteers who gave their time to help set up, keep everything running smoothly throughout the day, and stay afterward to clean it all up. Your dedication, hard work, and willingness to help do not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for each and every one of you.
To everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, performed, served food, or participated in any way—thank you for making Summerfest 2026 a day to remember.

📣 Exciting News from Jefferson Grange #1311!

The Jefferson Grange Hall is now available for event rentals!

Whether you're planning a birthday party, bridal or baby shower, family gathering, club meeting, small reception, holiday celebration, or another special event, our historic hall is ready to welcome you. With both upper and lower levels available and a full kitchen on the main floor, the space offers flexibility for a variety of occasions.

We're especially proud to be opening the hall thanks to the incredible support shown during our recent Reverse Raffle. This marks an important step in our ongoing efforts to restore and preserve this community landmark while creating a place where friends, families, and neighbors can gather, celebrate, and make memories.

Best of all, every rental helps support local charities, youth programs, community projects, and the continued preservation of Jefferson Grange Hall for future generations.
