Sign-ups are OPEN! Jefferson County and surrounding counties are welcome to participate.

What is SOULS?
Special exhibitors will have the opportunity to be paired with a caring 4-H or FFA youth mentor. Together, you’ll learn how to care for and show a livestock animal at the fair. Matches will be made in advance, and you will be notified once paired.

Who Can Participate?
This program is open to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

⭐️Mentors and Volunteers Sign Up⭐️

📢There are two sign ups. One is for mentors and one is for special exhibitors. This sign up is for MENTORS and VOLUNTEERS ONLY. Exhibitor sign-ups will be coming soon.📢

A mentor's job is to provide an animal for our special exhibitors and be able to help and teach them how to show and care for the animal. This position creates an opportunity for mentors to connect with the exhibitors while also showing leadership.

We would love to expand different species this year! Check it out, even if you haven't in the past.
