The swarm of support for STAY DAY was endearing. It is also a realization that the impact of su***de is vast. Just think of how many we can reach next year!

You still have time to get your STAY gear and spread the message.

Stay. The world is a better place with you in it.

An excerpt from one of our 2026 scholarship recipients, "Healing is not immediate. At first, I tried to push through the pain, telling myself that staying busy will make me forget about it, but it didn't. I failed to acknowledge how deeply affected I was. Over time, I found that healing begins with honesty. It was finally okay for me to grieve, talk about my feelings, and lean on people I trusted to fully process the loss. I learned that asking for help is not a sign of weakness but an act of courage. Through reflection, self-care, and support I slowly began to find balance again."

An excerpt we shared at the Cappy Classic event from the book, "No Mud, No Lotus: The Art of Transforming Suffering," by Thich Nhat Hanh:

"When we suffer, we tend to think that suffering is all there is at that moment, and happiness belongs to some other time or place. Thinking we should be able to have a life without any suffering is as deluded as thinking we should be able to have a left side without a right side. If you can recognize an accept your pain without running away from it, you will discover that although pain is there, joy can also be there at the same time."
