Making the trip to surgery a little less scary!

Yesterday the CRMF Executive Committee picked up several Power Wheels generously donated by Rusty Drewing Toyota. These fun vehicles will give CRMC’s youngest patients the opportunity to “drive” to the operating room before surgery.

The goal of this special program is to help ease fear and stress while bringing a little joy and comfort to children and their families.

A heartfelt thank-you to Rusty Drewing Automotive for supporting our youngest patients and helping make a difficult day a little brighter! ❤️

Last night, the Capital Region Medical Foundation had the pleasure of welcoming several of our newest medical staff and their spouses to a special reception hosted by Foundation leaders and supporters.

These gatherings provide an opportunity to connect outside the hospital setting, share what makes our community so special, and help our newest providers feel at home as they begin serving patients throughout mid-Missouri.

We are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a success. The strength of our healthcare community comes from the relationships we build, and it was wonderful to spend time getting to know these talented medical professionals and their families.

A special thank you to Sally Graham for sharing her beautiful home with us all and to Quinton Rice (JQ's on High) for preparing some amazing food!

Scholarship Update from Capital Region Medical Foundation & CRMC Partners!

We are excited to share that over 120 scholarship applications were submitted this year through the Capital Region Medical Foundation and CRMC Partners scholarship programs! This incredible response highlights the dedication and talent of students across our community who are pursuing careers in healthcare and related fields.

Our scholarship committees are currently reviewing applications, and recipients will be announced in the coming weeks. We are inspired by the passion and commitment shown by these applicants and are grateful to the donors who make these opportunities possible.

Interested in creating a lasting impact?
Community members who would like to establish a scholarship endowment to support future students are encouraged to reach out. Scholarships are a meaningful way to invest in the next generation of healthcare professionals serving mid-Missouri.
