🖤🐾 LET’S TALK ABOUT HANNAH FOR A MINUTE! 🐾🖤
First of all, can we just talk about how absolutely GORGEOUS this girl is?! 😍 Hannah is a stunning black German Shepherd, through and through!
But Hannah is so much more than a black beauty.
Hannah is a tried-and-true SHEPHERD!
She is loyal. She is protective. She loves her people FIERCELY. And she takes her job of watching over her home and her people very seriously.
That’s our Hannah girl! 🖤
Now, here’s where we need everyone to really listen.
Hannah is going to need a very special home. Not because she’s a bad dog. Quite the opposite! But because she needs someone who truly understands the German Shepherd breed, their instincts, their loyalty, and their need for structure, guidance, and consistency.
Hannah needs a confident, experienced Shepherd owner who understands that protecting her people doesn’t mean she gets to make all the decisions.
She needs to learn that not everyone who comes into her home is a threat. That visitors can be welcomed. That her people will handle situations and she doesn’t have to take that responsibility upon herself.
And YES, Hannah CAN learn these things! ❤️
But it will take patience, continued training, clear boundaries, and someone committed to helping her succeed. We want Hannah to look to her person for guidance and trust that they have things under control.
Let’s talk about a few other things we’ve learned about our girl!
🐾 Treats? Well, you’ve heard us talk about those Vienna sausages! 😂 Hannah certainly enjoys them, but she’s not always super food motivated.
🐾 Praise? OH YES! This girl absolutely LOVES being told she’s a good girl! Positive reinforcement, encouragement, and knowing she’s made her person happy mean so much to her.
🐾 Crating? Not her favorite thing when her people leave. But she does well being confined to a room instead.
🐾 Her people? She LOVES them. She wants to be with them. She bonds deeply, and when you’re one of Hannah’s people, you are HER person. ❤️
And can we talk about TODAY?!
We had SO MUCH FUN with Hannah! 🥰
She got to meet several different people today. Were there a few she was unsure about? Absolutely! And that’s okay. We respected that, gave her time, and allowed her to work through those moments.
And you know what?!
She warmed up to everyone! ❤️
Those are the moments that make us smile. Those are the moments that remind us just how much potential this beautiful girl has with the right guidance.
We have always promised to be honest about our dogs. The good, the challenges, the quirks, and everything in between.
We aren’t going to tell you Hannah is the perfect dog for everyone. She’s not. She needs an experienced home willing to continue her training, understand her protective tendencies, and help her learn appropriate boundaries.
But we absolutely believe Hannah is going to be someone’s AMAZING dog!
We want to set her future family up for success, and more importantly, we want to set HANNAH up for success!
She deserves that. She deserves someone who understands her, respects her, teaches her, and loves her for the incredible Shepherd she is.
Somewhere out there is Hannah’s person. Someone who is going to look at this beautiful black Shepherd and say, “That’s my girl. I understand her. I’ve got her.” 🖤
And Hannah? She’s going to love that person with everything she’s got.
🏡 Experienced German Shepherd home preferred. Continued training and commitment are a must.
