Today, at the 2026 AUSA Annual Meeting and Exposition in Washington, D.C., Command Sgt. Maj. Brian Kendrick joined Senior Enlisted Advisor John T. Raines III, Command Sgt. Maj. Brandon J. Williams, Command Sgt. Maj. Bryan A. Goff, and Command Sgt. Maj. Brock C. Snow for a panel discussing the National Guard’s Role in the Joint Force.

Our senior enlisted leaders play a critical role in developing Soldiers, strengthening readiness and building the disciplined, lethal formations our nation needs to meet tomorrow's challenges.

I'm proud of the leadership and commitment our Army National Guard Soldiers demonstrate every day. We are an integral part of the joint force and are always ready for the challenge.

On Aug. 20, a "VA Claims Path to Care" briefing for transitioning service members of all ranks will be held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Hawk Career Center, Lewis North. Spouses, veterans and walk-ins are welcome, and registration is not required.

Nothing brings people together quite like America's favorite pastime! ⚾

A huge thank you to the AUSA & Tacoma Rainiers for hosting the 446th Airlift Wing last week for an unforgettable evening at Cheney Stadium as the Rainiers took on the Sacramento River Cats. Events like these give our Citizen Airmen and their families the chance to connect outside the workplace, strengthen camaraderie, build unit cohesion, and reinforce the esprit de corps that makes our Wing stronger.

We're grateful for the opportunity to spend quality time together and appreciate the continued support from our local community. We look forward to the next pitch!
