Congratulations to the Huntingburg Regional Airport on today’s ribbon cutting with Governor Braun, the INDOT Office of Aviation, and leaders from across Dubois County.

The Huntingburg Airport contributes approximately $20 million in annual economic impact. This investment in regional infrastructure strengthens Dubois County’s ability to attract and retain businesses, support future investment, and advance long-term economic growth.

Dubois Strong and IncCodes have completed the initial findings phase of the housing-focused zoning review underway in Jasper, Huntingburg, and Ferdinand.

One early finding is that some of the neighborhoods people already value in Dubois County would be difficult to build again under today’s zoning rules.

The next phase will test current regulations against real-world housing scenarios to better understand where local codes are working and where they may unintentionally limit future housing options.
