JASPER YOUTH FOOTBALL & CHEER - COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT
At Jasper Youth Football & Cheer, our mission is to provide a community-based program that reaches every child in the Jasper area—not just through athletics, but by supporting their economic, emotional, and personal development.
We are excited to share that we have joined the Lone Star Youth Football League (LSYFL). This transition allows our families to enjoy local games, just 20 to 35 minutes away, making it easier and more affordable for everyone to cheer on our youth.
Our move to the Lone Star League is driven by our commitment to:
-Providing greater stability
-Offering local competition and community engagement
-Reducing travel and economic strain for families
-Creating more opportunities for player development
-Ensuring mandatory playing time for all athletes
-Promoting year-round mentorship and coaching consistency
This new chapter is about more than just winning games—it’s about making a positive impact on our youth’s lives. Every child will have the opportunity to grow and develop both on and off the field.
Our dedication extends beyond sports. We are committed to community engagement and leadership development through initiatives such as:
-Church partnerships
-Mentorship programs at JISD (Walking the Halls initiative)
-Visiting nursing homes and supporting elders
-Participating in local clean-up and community service projects
We are proud to work with local law enforcement, including the Jasper Sheriff’s Department, who will serve as mentors, speak at events, and assist with community efforts. Their involvement helps demonstrate that our youth have positive role models in all aspects of life.
This program is about more than touchdowns and trophies—it’s about nurturing responsible, confident, and community-minded individuals who will grow into future leaders.
We look forward to building a brighter future for Jasper’s youth—on and off the field.
