Creating Community Connections is looking into starting a Perimenopause Support Group and we want to hear from YOU! đź’š

Perimenopause can bring a lot of changes — physically, emotionally, and mentally — and sometimes it helps just knowing you’re not alone. We are exploring the possibility of creating a safe, supportive space where women can share experiences, symptoms, feelings, tips, and encouragement with others who understand.

We would love your input:
✨ Is there any interest in joining a Perimenopause Support Group? ✨ Would you prefer meeting: • Indoors (meeting room/community space) • Outdoors (park or shelter house) ✨ Is there a certain day of the week or time that works best for you?

We know everyone’s schedules are different, and while we may not be able to accommodate every request, we will do our best to find a time that works for the majority. As the group grows, we’re hopeful smaller groups may naturally form and meet on days/times that work best for them as well.

If this is something you’d be interested in, please comment below or send us a private message with your thoughts! 💬

You are not alone, and your voice matters. đź’š

No registration is required, just show up.

As we celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month đź’™
this is what people don’t always see 👇

1. Not everyone who is struggling looks like it.
2. Some people are laughing and hurting at the same time.
3. Getting out of bed can be a big win for someone.
4. “I’m tired” can mean more than just sleep.
5. Silence doesn’t mean they’re okay.
6. They may cancel plans, go quiet, or pull away.
7. Overthinking can be exhausting.
8. Smiling doesn’t always mean happiness.
9. Healing is not a straight line.
10. Some people are fighting battles they can’t explain.
11. Support matters more than you think.
12. Kind words can make a difference.
13. Not everyone knows how to ask for help.
14. Just because they’re coping doesn’t mean they’re okay.
15. Showing up every day takes strength.
16. Sometimes, someone can be dealing with 4, 7, and 13 all at once— tired, overwhelmed, and unsure how to even ask for help.

So before you judge someone’s silence or distance, remember—there could be more going on than you see.
