We would like to thank everyone for coming out to the Deer Volunteer Fire Department’s 4th of July Celebration and supporting the Jasper-Newton County Kiwanis Club. 100% of our funds stay here in Newton County to help the youth of Newton County.
We would also like to thank the Deer Volunteer Fire Department and their volunteers for all the hard work putting on this awesome event, the Deer School for the use of their campus and facilities.
We couldn’t do this without our awesome volunteers and the Jasper High School Key Club for the hours of community service.

It’s about time for the Jasper-Newton County Kiwanis “Running with the Elk 5K”. Please join us Saturday June 27, 2026 at the Lost Valley Store and Canoe Rental in Ponca, AR, race starts at 8:00 am. Run or walk along the beautiful Buffalo River and help support our scholarship programs. We are also looking for sponsors. Check out our FB page for updates and more information.
