Invasive Species Awareness Coalition of Dubois County

Invasive Species Awareness Coalition of Dubois County ISAC combats non-native invasive species (NNIS) in Dubois County. NNIS are a great threat to native ecosystems.

They are introduced, often through landscaping, and displace native plants. Wildlife lose their food and shelter when NNIS take over an area.

What a fantastic evening at the Parklands for our bird walk! We had a great turnout and beautiful weather.

A special thank you to Jeremy Ross for sharing his knowledge with us. We learned so much about bird habitats, spotted a variety of birds, and heard how invasive species have an impact on our birds.

Join us again at the Parklands on June 30th at 6:30 pm for the Parklands Prairie Walk to learn more on the native prairie plants growing at the parklands!
