Jamul Town Brewery and Tap (JTBT) has chosen Pedroncelli Vinyards as their official bottled wine of choice. On Saturday, August 23rd from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., wine tasting participants can sample some of the 12 varieties of wine that Pedroncelli Vinyards is suggesting be carried at all times and then, based on feedback, Jamul Town Brewery and Tap will settle on the top 4 or 5 and have them available at all times. The location of the event is at JTBT - 13881 Campo Rd., Jamul, CA 91935.

Jamul Town Brewery and Tap is also encouraging other East County Vintners to join the event so participants can sample and decide which of their wines to have available at JTBT as well.

Presented by: Mark Abraham, Sales Director of Pedroncelli Vinyards and Vannessa Lewis, Wine Warehouse Consultant and JTBT supplier.

Provided: Tasters of 12+ wines at participants’ discretion and choosing. It will be casual, just as if you were in Napa at a winery. Mark will share his stories from over 40 years on the industry and answer any questions you have. The JTBT will provide cheeses, crackers, meats, olives, etc. as pairing with the wine.

Cost: $10 per person at the door and is open to any and all—Reservations are encouraged either call the JTBT at 619.630.1505 or Gary at 619.442.4445

At 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20th, there will be a meeting to discuss possible closure of trails. This effects hikers, cyclists, equestrians and anyone else that utilizes these public trails. The meeting will be held at Oak Grove Middle School in Jamul.

Detectives from the Sheriff's Homicide Detail and deputies from the Rancho San Diego Sheriff's Station are in 8900 block of Noeline Avenue.

Noeline Avenue and Parkbrook Street are closed. Please avoid the area if you can.
