North American Dutch Shepherd Rescue We are a foster-based, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation & re-homing of Du NADSR is a foster-based organization.

We do not operate a shelter. In an effort to match each dog with a home best suited to meet their unique needs, the temperament and behavior of each dog is carefully evaluated while they are in foster care. Dogs are also taught good house manners, basic obedience skills and are socialized while in foster care. We are a Northern California based organization with limited resources throughout the US

. Our volunteers visit shelters to ID dogs, perform home visits, pull dogs from shelters, transport dogs, and foster dogs. As time goes on, we hope to be able to expand our volunteer base and our treasury so that we may continue to help more dogs in need across North America.
