𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳:
I grew up on a hog farm in Welch, MN. I moved to Jamestown for college in 2001 with the intention of moving back to MN. I have been married for almost 20 years to Brian, and we have 5 kids ages almost 16 to almost 8: Annabelle, Cole, Ellie, Cooper, and Piper. I have worked in the financial services industry for almost 20 years. In my free time I enjoy cooking, baking, making memories with the kids, attempting to play pickleball, running, and traveling.

𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀:
I spent a year in Switzerland after high school working as an au pair.
I was married in the same small county church as my mother and grandmother.
I have been an extra in a movie.

To go on an Antarctica Cruise.

I wanted to be more involved in my community and meet people.

I enjoy the comradery of Rotary and the friends that I have made. I also like being a part of an organization that is doing good things in this world.

𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳:
I grew up on a farm about 20 miles south of Jamestown and currently live on that same farm, just in a different house! My grandparents are my next door neighbors! My husband, Karlie, farms and ranches with my family. I have worked at SMP Health - Ave Maria since 2009, serving as the Development Director since 2018. It is my privilege to tell the stories of the amazing people who call Ave Maria home! My favorite hobby is watching my kids participate in their favorite hobbies (wrestling, basketball, flag football, baseball, track)! Aurelia is 10. Knox is 8, and Kroix boy is 3!

I still have all four of my grandparents at 35 years old—now that is BLESSED!

𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳:
I am married to my husband, Alan and we have 3 children, Jade, Jory (engaged to Shawnee Hansen), and Jace and we live in Binford, ND. I am the Customer Relations Manager at Dakota Central, and my husband and I own and operate Boote Septic Solutions (portable toilet rental and tank pumping business) as well as Ranch. Additionally, my dad, brother and husband are auctioneers, and as a family we own and operate Halvorson Boote Auction.

In my free time, we compete in rodeo and I enjoy golfing.

𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀:
I went back to Dickinson State University 4 years ago at the age of 50 (yes I was an OTA) and finished my Bachelor's Degree in Business, then my Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management, graduating with my two adult kids in 2024.

I have 3 kids born in 3 different decades and 2 different centuries.

I have been very fortunate to have knocked a few off my list but probably my # 1 right now would be – to go on an Alaska Cruise.

Wine & Brewhaha always starts and ends in a flash and this year was no exception! Thank you to the nearly 200 people who bought tickets, our amazing beverage and food vendors who bring their products and share their time with us, and the community that donates amazing silent auction and raffle prizes. We are a lucky group to have so much support and we can’t wait to show you all the good we are doing with the money raised at this fun event! 💙💛
