The Jamestown ND Rotary Club is currently meeting every Tuesday at 12 noon in the banquet room of the Club 1883 (formerly known as Knights of Columbus Hall) in Jamestown ND. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned? The Jamestown Rotary Club meets every Tuesday at noon. The Jamestown Rotary Club is always looking for new members. Today, we had the pleasure of hearing from Rotarian Annie Hancock from SMP Health - Ave Maria!

Annie shared an update on their exciting new addition — an over $8 million project adding 16 new private suites to the facility. Each suite includes its own private bathroom and walk-in shower, providing residents with additional comfort, privacy and convenience.

Annie was joined by Brianna Neitzke, who shared an update on the assisted living side and highlighted the many services and amenities available to residents, including attached garages, physical therapy, and on-site salon services for hair and nails.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn more about the continued growth and the important work SMP Health - Ave Maria is doing to serve seniors in our community. Thank you, Annie and Brianna, for joining us!

What a great day at Rotary! 💙

We were honored to welcome our District Governor, Peter Nelson, to our club today! He shared more about the five pillars of Rotary our district is focusing on and, most importantly, how we can each play a part in making a difference.

We were also excited to have Assistant Governor Blake Crosby join us!

It’s always inspiring to hear how our local club can be part of something bigger. Together, we can continue to serve, connect, and make a lasting impact in our community and beyond.

Great things happen when we come together to serve!

Last week, the Jamestown Rotary Club had the privilege of welcoming Courtney Wiest to share the inspiring story behind Project 10.15.

Project 10.15 is a North Dakota initiative that honors babies lost through miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss while supporting the families who carry that grief every day. The project’s name comes from October 15, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, and includes a 400+ mile relay across North Dakota to raise awareness, offer hope, and remind families they are not alone.

Thank you, Courtney, for sharing your heart and for bringing awareness to such an important cause. Your message was a powerful reminder of the impact compassion, remembrance, and community support can have.

We had a great group today for our program, Tom Hager and Ryan Iliff from University of Jamestown. UJ recently announced that Tom Hager has been promoted to Deputy Athletic Director of Development and Leadership, concluding a remarkable 27-year tenure as head baseball coach and beginning a new chapter of leadership within Jimmie Athletics. Ryan Iliff, a University of Jamestown alumnus and longtime assistant coach, has been named the next head baseball coach. 🧡🖤

Four outstanding Jamestown High School students are off to RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) for a week dedicated to developing leadership skills, building lifelong connections, and growing through new experiences and challenges.

We know this week will inspire, encourage, and equip these future leaders to make an even greater impact in our community.

Have an amazing week, Blake, Miles, Annabelle, and Clara! We can’t wait to hear about everything you learned, the friendships you made, and the impact RYLA has on each of you. We’re cheering you on every step of the way!

Rotary is strongest because of the people in our club -those who volunteer, lead, and continually put "Service Above Self" into action. Thank you for making this a successful year.
Now it is my pleasure to pass the leadership of our club to our incoming president, Carlen. I know Carlen will bring new ideas, energy, and enthusiasm to the year ahead, and I encourage everyone to offer the same support you've given me.
